Irene Pauls

Irene H. Pauls, 86, of Inman, KS, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. Irene was born on October 10, 1926, in Windom, KS, the daughter of John S. and Helen (Regehr) Pauls. She grew up on her parents' farms, first at Windom and then east of Inman. Upon her parents' deaths, she moved to the Pleasant View Home in Inman, Kansas.

Survivors include: her brother, Harvey Pauls and wife, Mary Anne, of Georgetown, TX; sisters, Virginia Rahn of Newburgh, IN and Annie Johnson and husband, Everett, of Lindsborg, KS; several nieces & nephews, including Bruce Becker and wife, Bev, of McPherson, KS; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Verda Lee Francz, Nelda June Becker, and Elvina Mae Pauls.

A visitation and viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at the Hoffnungsau Cemetery, Inman.
