Helen Unruh

Helen Louise Unruh, 80, of Galva, died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at Shiloh Manor in Canton. She was retired and had been co-owner & operator of the Unruh Locker Plant and also worked in the meat department at Howard and Jennie's Market, both at Galva.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 20, at Empire Cemetery, rural Galva. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: husband, Leland of the home; a son, Randall of Galva; a daughter, Sandra Unruh of Galva; two brothers, Clinton Mowbray of Canton and G. Duane Mowbray of McPherson; a sister, Ava Chamberlain of Falls Church, VA; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Blair and Ann Belle Barnes.
