Helen Mitchell

Helen D. Mitchell, 93, of McPherson, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at The Cedars Health Care Center, McPherson. She was a retired teacher, having taught in the Galva, Groveland, & Inman Schools.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: a son, Owen N. Mitchell of Fremont, CA; a daughter, Joan D. Fitzjarrald of Wichita, KS; three brothers, Walt Helsel of Edmonds, WA, Robert Helsel of Cottage Grove, OR, and Charles Helsel of South Pasadena, CA; a sister, Bonnie Park of McPherson; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
