Harry Sandahl

Harry Sandahl, 81, of Lindsborg, was called to his heavenly home on Friday, July 20, 2012, at the McPherson Hospital. He was a farmer and dairyman.

Harry was born on February 9, 1931, in rural McPherson, the son of Carl Hugo and Mabel Cecelia (Ledell) Sandahl. He received his grade school education at the Headley School in Harper Township and attended the Marquette High School. He was a McPherson County resident his entire life.

He was a life-long member of the Freemount Lutheran Church, Lindsborg.

Survivors include: his sister, Pearl Sandahl of Lindsborg, KS; and brother, Virgil Sandahl of Lindsborg, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

The funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Freemount Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, with Pastors James Harrison, Gerald Berggren, Dick Monson, and Bill Buschbaum officiating. Interment will be in the Freemount Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 23, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
