Geraldine Stevens

Geraldine May Stevens, 85, of Canton, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at Heartland Haven Home Plus near Inman, KS.

She was born August 4, 1926, in St. Johns, Oregon, the daughter of Clarence and Olita (Young) Summers. She was a retired waitress and had been a resident of Canton since 2006, formerly of Vancouver, WA.

Survivors include: a son, James Smith of Canton, KS; two daughters, Mary Clements of Canton, KS and Glenna Peebles of Vancouver, WA; a sister, Evaleen Zimmerman of Vancouver, WA; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and a son, Andrew Ellis.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 27, at the Canton Christian Church. There will be no visitation.
