Georgia Lee Patton

Georgia Lee Patton, 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Salina Regional Health Center surrounded by her MCDS family.

Georgia was born on March 7, 1947, in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of George Lee and Marian Frances (Day) Patton. The family moved to Kansas when Georgia was a child.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Woodrow “Woody” Rufus Davis, older brother, Robert L. Patton, and nephew, Roger Steven Patton.

Survivors include: her daughter, Tiffany Lee Penney of Keller, TX; granddaughter, Alexandria Penney of Keller, TX; sister-in-law, Linda Patton of Kingman, KS; and three nieces in Kansas and and one nephew in Texas.

Georgia has been lovingly cared for in McPherson by Multi-Community Diversified Services (MCDS) for many years. She leaves behind many friends and caregivers at MCDS. She is also survived by her long trusted friends, Sally & Everett Blake of Hutchinson, KS and her guardian, Vaughn Ingram of McPherson, KS.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Harmony Christian Church with Pastor Troy Schroeder officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Hoosier Cemetery near Kingman, KS.
