Forrest Burns

Forrest A. Burns, 72, of McPherson and formerly of Conway, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012, at McPherson Hospital. He was a retired farm laborer and also worked part-time for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

He was born February 18, 1940, in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Roy M. and Hulda M. (Clayton) Burns. He spent most of his life in the Conway community and graduated from McPherson High School in the class of 1959. Forrest was a member of the Monitor Church of the Brethren.

Survivors include his good friends and caregivers, Delbert and Tarina Hunt of McPherson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private burial will take place in the Monitor Church Cemetery (McPherson) on Tuesday, July 30, 2012. There will be no visitation.
