Eva Bradley

Eva M. Bradley, 96, of McPherson, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007, at the McPherson Care Center, McPherson.

She was born December 20, 1910, at Clements, Kansas, the daughter of James Grover and Birdie (Rider) Drummond. She graduated high school at Clements, Kansas. She was a McPherson resident from 1936 to 1951 and from 1975 to present. She had formerly lived in Salina, Lindsborg, and Brighton, Colorado.

On November 19, 1931, Eva was united in marriage to Darrell C. Bradley at McPherson. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1982.

Eva was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge, Royal Neighbors, McPherson Scottish Society, was a Red Cross Volunteer, and served on the board for Friendship Meals.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ with Dr. Kenneth Stephens officiating. Burial will be at the Elmdale Cemetery in Elmdale, Kansas. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stockham Family Funeral Home.

Her survivors include: her daughter, Wanda Scott and husband, Harold, of McPherson, KS; granddaughter, Belinda Roy of Salina, KS; and three great-grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell, a brother, Lee Drummond, and a grandson, Garner Scott.
