Ethel Buller

Ethel Lee Buller, 91, of Federal Way, Washington and formerly of McPherson, Kansas, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the Life Care Center in Federal Way, WA.

She was born August 26, 1916, at Pawnee, OK, the daughter of Arthur and Grace (Going) Short. She had been a McPherson resident for many years prior to moving to Washington in 1993. She was a homemaker and former restaurant cook.

Ethel married Earl Kenneth Messick in 1935. He died Nov. 22, 1957. She then married James G. Buller on Dec. 16, 1960, in McPherson. He died March 12, 2002.

Ethel was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in McPherson.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth Lee Messick and wife, Nena, of Yuma, AZ; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a son, Derril Messick.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 20, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
