Ellinore Caroline Morrow, 92, of McPherson, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at McPherson Hospital. Ellinore was a lifetime McPherson/McPherson County resident. She was a waitress, welder at Beechcraft, hotel and restaurant owner, ceramic shop owner, and a homemaker.

Ellinore was born during a blizzard near Gypsum, Kansas on December 25, 1923, to Charley and Louise (Writer) Johnson. She married Guy E. Cunningham on February 18, 1943, at Newton, KS. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1953. Ellinore married Byron P. Morrow on October 1, 1955, at their home in McPherson, KS. Byron preceded her in death on September 10, 2002.

Elinore was a member of the Covenant/Countryside Covenant Church for 65 years and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for 55 years.

Survivors include: daughters, Vada Anderson (John) of McPherson, KS, Rebecca Hogue (Kirby) of Tulsa, OK; step-daughter, Judy Beal (Harlan) of Hutchinson, KS; sons, Guy Cunningham (Pam) of Bloomington, IN and Wayne Morrow (Julie) of Norwich, KS; 11 grandchildren (Daphne Allen, Scott Anderson, Julie Anderson, Kris Anderson, Tonya Qualls, Jill Shearer, Nathan Cunningham, Lori Meis, Brad Beal, Tessa Konen, and Dennan Morrow); and 31 great and great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charley and Louise (Writer) Johnson; step-father, Lester Walline; brothers, Alvin Johnson, Carl Johnson, and Gerald Johnson; sister, Gloria Thompson; first husband ,Guy Cunningham, Sr.; husband, Byron Morrow; and son, Edward Cunningham.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Countryside Covenant Church. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 15, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
