Elda Louise Wolf

Elda Louise Wolf, 73, of McPherson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, December 5, 2014, at Harry Hynes Hospice Center, Wichita.

She was born on July 18, 1941, in Concordia, KS, the daughter of Lawrence “Ditty” and Opal Ilene (Kelly) Lavy. She graduated from Glasco High School in 1959.

On July 25, 1959, Elda was united in marriage to Jim Wolf in Eureka, KS.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and V.F.W. Post #2715 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include: husband, Jim of the home; three children, Kurt Wolf of Sioux Falls, SD, Wanda Williams and husband, Danny, of McPherson, KS, and Jon Wolf and wife, Deb, of McPherson, KS; two brothers, Art Lavy and wife, Sharon, of Santa Fe, NM and Lewis Lavy and wife, Bev, of Hutchinson, KS; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Larry Lavy and Carl Lavy.

The memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at First Christian Church with Pastor Lynn Scott officiating. Inurnment will follow at the McPherson Cemetery.
