Edna Knackstedt

Edna C. Knackstedt, 97, of McPherson and formerly of Inman, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at The Cedars. She was a homemaker and retired teacher, having taught English at Inman High School for many years.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the North Inman Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The casket will be open at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time.

Survivors include: a daughter, Elaine Berberich of Danville, PA; a son, Oliver Nelson Knackstedt of Silver Springs, NV; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver A. Knackstedt; a brother, Norris Nelson, a sister, Ruth Larson, and three cousins, Waldo, Dwight, and Livingston Newberg.
