Douglas Eugene Crick

Douglas E. Crick, 72, of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Johnson Regional Medical Center, Clarksville, AR. He was a truck driver for J & H Trucking, Andover, KS.

Doug was born on August 20, 1941, in Wichita, KS, the son of Eugene and Drusilla (Shipman) Crick. He graduated from high school in Riverside, CA. On July 25, 1989, he was united in marriage to Margaret Ann “Peggy” Hill in McPherson, KS.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include: wife, Peggy Crick of the home; step-son, Curtis Hill (Michelle) of Great Falls, MT; brother-in-law, Tony Hill of Worden, MT; sisters-in-law, Carol Hill of Wichita, KS, Alinda Hill of Shepherd, MT, and Iris Peters of York, PA; and aunt, Wanda Masterson of San Bernardino, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Crick and Drusilla Crick-Smith, and a brother, Dennis Crick.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2013, at New Life Foursquare Church, 811 North Ash, McPherson, with Pastor Chuck Baker officiating. Burial will follow at the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
