Dennis F. Bammer

Dennis F. Bammer, 54, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019, surrounded by family at McPherson Hospital. He had worked at CertainTeed as an extruder technician.

Dennis was born on January 22, 1964, in Leavenworth, KS, the son of John Francis and Mary Ann (Henchek) Bammer. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1982. Dennis was united in marriage to Debbie S. Anderson on December 21, 2007, in Abilene, TX.

He was a former Boy Scout, volunteered with the YMCA gymnastics program, and loved motorcycles.

Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Bammer of McPherson, KS; two daughters, Chelsie Bammer (Art Palko) of Cleveland, MO and Jessie Bammer of Cleveland, MO; mother, Mary Ann Stofer of Hutchinson, KS; sister, Janice Jones (Dale) of Wichita, KS; mother-in-law, Doris Anderson of McPherson, KS; step-children, Jason Schropp of Wichita, KS, Jennifer LaSalle of McPherson, KS, and Crystal Walline (Chris) of McPherson, KS; grandchildren, Gavin & Maverick Palko; seven step-grandchildren; two nephews; and his dog, Cheyenne.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Bammer, and father-in-law, Don Anderson.

Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, January 14, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.
