Deanna White

Deanna Dee White, 83, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Pine Village, Moundridge.    She worked as a sales clerk at the Duckwall-ALCO store in Greensburg, KS.

Deanna was born on July 29, 1940, in Beloit, KS, the daughter of Dean Harrison and Ida Ann (Leonhart) Williams.  She graduated from Downs High School (Downs, KS) in 1958.  On September 18, 1960, Deanna was united in marriage to Marion Eugene White in Downs, KS.  They celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing on January 5, 2021.

Survivors include: children, Tammy Davison (Tim), Jeffery White (Tonya), and Alan White (Tami), all of McPherson, KS; brother-in-law, Gary White (Delores) of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Mike Davison (Heather Lewis), Ashley McAllister (Bill Allen), Cody Davison (Sarah), Grant Fletcher, Natoshia Adams (Bryce), and Brittanee’ White; and 13 great-grandchildren, Jayce, Kenzley, Roman, Jesse, BrynnLeigh, Gable, Ava, Everly, Wilder, Wyatt, Logan, Jaidon, and Izzy; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Bill Dean Williams; and two grandchildren, Brandon Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Pastor George Bocox officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Downs Cemetery, Downs, KS.
