David Joe

David Joe Hay, 9 day old infant son of David Allen and Geneva Joe (Erickson) Hay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the family home in Lindsborg. David was born on May 25, 2012, in Salina, Kansas.

Survivors include: his parents, David & Geneva of the home; sister, Autumn of the home; brother, Nicholas of the home; paternal grandparents, Joe & Mary Hay of Salina, KS; maternal grandparents, Lauren & Debby Erickson of Lindsborg, KS and Valerie Erickson of McPherson, KS; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Benfield of Salina, KS; maternal great-grandmother, Josephine DeWild of McPherson, KS; and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents, Joe & Cora Hay and Robert Benfield; maternal great-grandparents, Clarence & Geneva Erickson and Clarence DeWild.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg with Pastor Ethan Feistner officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
