David William Clark, 67, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at his home in McPherson. David retired from Kansas Power and Light gas company after 37 years of service in September of 2015.
David was born on July 27, 1955, in Junction City, KS, the son of Paul William and Jacqueline Katherine (Warrensburg) Clark. He graduated from Junction City High School in 1974. On December 19, 1981, David was united in marriage to Sandra “Sandy” Gaylene Record in McPherson, KS.
Survivors include: a daughter, Billi Mowbray and husband, Darin, of McPherson, KS; two grandchildren, Seth Mowbray and wife, Catherine of Lenexa, KS and Sami Reitsma and husband, Chance, of McPherson, KS; great-grandchildren, Averi Reitsma and Theodore “Teddy” Mowbray, and one great-grandbaby on the way; two sisters, Paulette McCallum of New Plymouth, ID and Kathy Kenyon of Lawton, OK; and mother-in-law, Louise Record of Wichita, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Richard Clark, and a sister, Connie Wendler.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 25, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 25, at Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, KS.
