Claude A. Belknap

Claude A. Belknap, 66, of McPherson, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at his residence in McPherson. He was a retired computer engineer and instructor for the EMC Corporation in Mendon, MA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Claude was born on November 20, 1944, in Buffalo, NY.

On August 31, 1991, he was united in marriage to Nancy L. Finney in Bartlesville, OK. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2010. On November 20, 2010, he was united in marriage to Rev. Sue E. Talbot in Enterprise, KS.

Claude was a member of the New Hope Evangelical Church.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at New Hope Evangelical Church with Rev. Jim Keil officiating. Burial will be in the Crestwood Memorial Park Cemetery, McPherson.

Survivors include: wife, Sue of the home; son, Zachary of the home; mother-in-law, Ellene Peery (Boyd) of McPherson, KS; several nieces and nephews including LeeAnn Pierce and husband, Chris, of Bartlesville, OK; brothers-in-law, Gordon Finney (Evelyn) of Lake Pomme de Terre, MO and Kevin McKean (Chris) of McPherson, KS; sister-in-law, Marguerite Crockett (Butch) of McPherson, KS; five step-children; and eight step-grandchildren.
