Charles "Chuck" R. Shelton, Jr.

Charles R. “Chuck” Shelton, Jr., 53, of Cunningham, KS, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Hutchinson, KS.  He owned and operated Precision Painting and was in the home improvement/remodeling business for many years.

He was born September 11, 1970, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Charles Ronald (Sr.) and Betty May (Doty) Shelton.  He was one of nine children in the family. Chuck attended the McPherson schools.

Survivors include: fiancé, Tina Brown of Topeka, KS; his mother, Betty Shelton of Cunningham, KS; siblings, Lana Wolfgang (Steve) of Cunningham, KS, Kevin Shelton of Salina, KS, Robin Rumsey of Salina, KS, Chris Coleman (Jim) of Pratt, KS, Craig Shelton of Hutchinson, KS, and Karen Bailey (Brad) of Lehigh, KS; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Jody Shelton and Clayton Shelton; two nephews, Trevor Heuson and Emidio Bledsoe; a niece, Amber Dimitt; and sister-in-law, Twila Shelton.
