Charles J. Charbonneau

Charles Joseph Charbonneau, 77, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020, with his family by his side at McPherson Hospital. Charles had worked at CertainTeed and Johns Manville and retired from Gibson Industrial Controls, Inc., all of McPherson.

Charles was born on May 15, 1943, in Concordia, KS, the son of Joseph and Loretta (Tommer) Charbonneau. He graduated from Notre Dame High School (Concordia, KS) in 1961. On June 13, 1964, Charles was united in marriage to Janice R. Ribordy in Concordia. This union was blessed with two daughters, Lori and Lisa.

Survivors include: his wife, Janice of the home; two daughters, Lori Nutter and husband, Brent, of McPherson, KS and Lisa Koehn and husband, Mike, of McPherson, KS; a sister, Janet Bisnette and husband, Charles, of Topeka, KS; and three grandchildren, Aaron Koehn, Crystal Nutter, and Nathan Nutter and wife, Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Dee Turrentine and Carolyn Keating.

Charles will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
