Brandon Adcock

Brandon C. Adcock, 21, of McPherson, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from McPherson High School in 2010 and was enrolled at Texas Tech this coming fall.

He was born on December 10, 1991, in Salina, KS, the son of Brett Andrew and Dawnelle Kay (Frantz) Adcock. He was a member of the McPherson Church of the Brethren.

Brandon was a loving and wonderful son. He loved being an uncle and was great with kids. Following K-State sports and playing hockey were among his favorite hobbies, along with working out and physical fitness. He loved outdoor work, especially helping his father with mowing jobs.

Survivors include: his parents, Brett Adcock and Dawnelle Adcock, both of McPherson, KS; brother, Jacob Gayer (Megan) of McPherson, KS; sisters, Lacey Gayer (Keith Jones) of Topeka, KS and Monica Conyers (Sean) of Wichita, KS; grandmothers, Donna Adcock and ImoJean Frantz, both of McPherson, KS; and aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Merlin Frantz and Clark Adcock.

A private family service will be held on Friday, July 19, with Rev. Chris Whitacre and Rev. Kathryn Whitacre officiating.
