Brad Jay Burnison, 69, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at McPherson Hospital. He worked at Johns Manville, the McPherson Hospital EMT, and most recently was a traveling nurse.
Brad was born on September 15, 1951, in McPherson, KS, the son of Jule C. and Cleo R. (Alton) Burnison. He graduated from McPherson High School and went on to get a nursing degree.
Brad was a confirmed member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson.
Survivors include: a brother, Randy Burnison (Kathy) of Raymore, MO; a nephew, Jon-Jon Burnison (Maggie) of Wichita, KS; a niece, Ashley Nelson (Tucker) of Raymore, MO; great-niece, Kate Burnison; and two great-nephews, Jhett Nelson and Ryker Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jule Burnison and Elton “Colonel” & Cleo Lundberg.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at McPherson Cemetery with Rev. Tim Leaf officiating.
