Beverly Peterson

Beverly Ann Peterson, 72, of Galva, KS, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 7, 2011, at her home.

She was born March 28, 1938, in Arcadia, WI, the daughter of Stanley F. and Phyllis O. (Andre) Sonsalla. On October 8, 1955, she was united in marriage to Roy C. Peterson in Webster City, IA. Beverly worked at Beam Industries in Webster City from the mid 1970’s to 1987. Roy and Bev moved to Galva, KS in 1987. Bev worked for Femco in McPherson as a Production Control Clerk from 1987 to 2008, when she joined Roy in retirement.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 11, 2011, at Harmony Christian Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Cass Center Cemetery in Webster City, IA.

A second funeral service will be held in Webster City on Monday, March 14.

Survivors include: husband, Roy of the home; son, Rick Peterson (Deb) of Osceola, IN; daughters, Annette Miller (Len) of East Helena, MT and Pam Peterson of Webster city, IA; brothers, Don Sonsalla (Melody) of Beaver, UT, Jerry Sonsalla (Kathy) of Webster City, IA, Jim Randall (Vickie) of Kerkhoven, MN and Randy Meldrem (Kathy) of Lohrville, IA; sisters, Mary Jo Pagel (Lyle) of Mason, OH and Wanda Eckert of Waukesha, WI; and 8 grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and a special dog, Misty.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Lori Kalina in 1998.
