Mrs. Betty Stanley passed away quietly Sunday, April 22, 2018. She had been a teacher of English and Journalism for more than 40 years in Lubbock, Texas: first in junior high, then in high school, then in community college.
Mrs. Stanley was born in Lubbock and married once, to Fred Carlton Stanley, an Air Force Lieutenant who died in 1958.
