Betty Howard

Betty Lou Howard, 76, of McPherson, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at Memorial Hospital, McPherson. She was born on November 10, 1931, in Sylvan Grove, KS, the daughter of Charles and Mary Volok. She was a homemaker.

A private family graveside service will take place on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at McPherson Cemetery with Chaplain Scott Watford officiating.

Survivors include: her husband, Wilbert "Will" Howard of the home; a son, Steve Howard of McPherson; a daughter, Peggy Reeves and her husband, Pat, of McPherson; four sisters, Esther Rogers of Laramie, WY, Irene McKnight of Garland, TX, Kathy Fox of Monte Vista, CO, and Sharen Olsen of Oakdale, MN; a brother, Gary Volok of Mt. Vernon, AR; a grandson, Gary Loges and wife, Rebecca; five step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lois Volok and LaVonne Covington.
