Barbara Robertson

Barbara A. Robertson, 41, of McPherson, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Via Christi-St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, KS. Barbara was born on Feb. 17, 1968, in Winfield, KS, the daughter of Micheal A. and Linda J. (Young) Askins. She graduated from high school in Dexter, KS in 1986 and also graduated from Sidney's Hairdressing College in Hutchinson, KS. On February 7, 1987, she was united in marriage to Richard Lee Robertson, Jr. in Arkansas City, KS. Barbara was employed as a Certified Dietary Manager at Memorial Home in Moundridge.

Barbara was a member of the American Certified Dietary Manager's Association.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2009, at the Countryside Covenant Church with Rev. Jon Black officiating. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: her husband, Richard Lee Robertson, Jr., of the home; sons, Gregory and Jacob Robertson, both of McPherson, KS; brother, Todd Askins of Winfield, KS; parents, Micheal & Linda Askins of Winfield, KS; grandparents, Dorothy & Cecil Askins of Winfield, KS; parents-in-law, Jim and June Clark of Springfield, MO and Richard and Verla Robertson of Springfield, MO.
