Anna Adams

Anna Belle Adams, 79, of Schertz, TX, and formerly of Hutchinson, KS, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Northeast Methodist Hospital in Live Oak, TX. She worked as a short order cook and supermarket clerk. She also traveled extensively and was a loving housewife.

Anna was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Turon, KS, the daughter of Willard W. and Dora (Peterson) Durham. She graduated from Turon High School. On December 12, 1962, Anna was united in marriage to Earl E. Adams in Turon, KS.

Survivors include: husband, Earle of the home; step-daughters, Sharon K. Halter of Miamisburg, OH and Donna S. Burns of Schertz, TX; sister, Barbara Ellen Hockett of San Jose, CA; six step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wendell Lee Durham, Vernon Roy Durham, and Glenn Edward Durham, and an infant sister, Lois Elaine Durham.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the McPherson Cemetery. Dr. David Branson will officiate the service. There will be no visitation.
