Adeline Schafer

Adeline E. Schafer, 83, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at Via Christi/St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. She had lived in McPherson since 1981, moving from Wichita. She was a former schoolteacher, homemaker, and was a retired sales clerk at McCrory OTASCO store in Wichita.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 30, at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: her husband, Bernard of the home; two son, Howard of McPherson and Clyde of Batavia, IL; a daughter, Joyce Hart of Wichita; a brother, Robert Sellberg of McPherson; three sisters, Rosalie Borg of Lindsborg, Marie Larson of McPherson, and Grace George of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
