A. Toews

A.R. "Abe" Toews, 88, of Inman, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge, KS. He was a retired farmer & stockman and had been a minister at the Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Inman, KS.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, May 17, at the Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Burial will be in the Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation (with family present) will be from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.

Survivors include: his wife, Ruby of the home; four sons, Harry Toews of Barron, Wis., Percy Toews of McPherson, Robert Toews of McPherson, and Randy Toews of West Union, IA; four daughters, Marilyn Schmidt of Buhl, Idaho, Alice Ensz of Lakin, Ruth Nikkel of Inman, and Deanna Ensz of Windom; twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren.
