Robert Swick

Robert L. "Roy" Swick, 92, of McPherson, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was the President and co-founder of Central Plastics, retiring in 1978. He was also involved in other business ventures including Swanson's Electric, Swick-Guth, and WesCraft Boats.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 7, at Andover Lutheran Church, rural Windom. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in the Andover Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: his son, Rick Swick and wife, Deb, of Inman, KS; four grandchildren, Charlotte Clark of Raymore, MO, Chris Swick of Manhattan, KS, Ben Palmatier of San Diego, CA, and Becca Swick of Inman, KS; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and three brothers, Murl, Clarence, and Floyd Swick.
