Listen to Obituary

Cole Thomas Adrian, 6, of McPherson, Kansas, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Cole was born on August 31, 2020, in McPherson, KS, the beloved son of Chris and Natalie (Anderson) Adrian. A bright and cherished young boy, he was a kindergarten student at Roosevelt Elementary School, where he was beginning his journey of learning and discovery.

Cole was just the best kid ever. His infectious smile and contagious laughter had a way of lighting up every room and making it impossible not to be happy in his presence. He was full of life, humor, and an unmistakable vibrancy that drew people to him. A natural jokester, Cole loved making people laugh and was always ready with a joke or playful comment. He had a special gift for making friends with everyone, regardless of age, and genuinely loved connecting with the people around him.

More than anything, Cole loved spending time with his family and friends. He cherished golfing with his dad and papa, playing soccer with his siblings, and was just beginning to discover a love for tennis with his grandpa and anyone willing to join him. He delighted in arts and crafts with grammy and grandma, enjoyed games and puzzles, and loved riding bikes with his mom.

Cole was a tremendous joy to his parents, who loved him beyond measure and took such delight in being his mom and dad. He filled their lives with laughter, happiness, and a kind of light that only he could bring. The love, joy, and unforgettable memories he gave them will forever remain a part of who they are. Cole had a remarkable way of making ordinary moments extraordinary, and his beautiful spirit left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know and love him.

Cole’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving parents, Chris and Natalie Adrian, and his siblings, Cason and Tia, all of McPherson, Kansas; grandparents, Vicky and Alan Porter of McPherson, Kansas, Ken and LuAnn Adrian of Buhler, Kansas, and Danny Anderson of Payson, Arizona; aunts and uncles, Miranda (Patrick) Gallagher, Libby (MacKenzie) Anderson, Camille (Charlie) Fiddler, Aaron Porter, Mike Adrian, Tim (Elizabeth) Adrian, Jon (Jenny) Adrian, and Andy (Kelli) Adrian; cousins, Brody Gallagher, Killian Gallagher Gavin Anderson, Eleanor Fiddler, Andre Adrian, Grace Adrian, Lillian Adrian, Lee Adrian, and Ethan Adrian; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by Cole.

A visitation and viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at McPherson Free Methodist Church. A funeral service celebrating Cole’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, at the church. Following the service, a private graveside service will take place at McPherson Cemetery.

In honor of Cole, the family invites those attending the visitation and service to wear Cole’s favorite kinds of attire: soccer jerseys, blue colored clothing, or camouflage to show support if you so choose.

Memorial donations can be payable to the Cole Adrian Memorial Fund. Cole was always fond of flowers, so, donations of flowers are also appreciated.

Because of the expected large turnout on Monday, overflow funeral seating is available at Greer Auditorium on the Campus of Central Christian College. Parking is available at the Free Methodist Church, Greer Auditorium, Pyle Sports Complex, and Roosevelt School. On street parking is also available in several designated areas. See map below.
